Our objectives
The ‘Lest We Forget’ Association offers support to disabled men and women, in or out of any hospitals and homes, and who are currently serving, or who have served, in the Armed Forces or in the Merchant Navy. It does this by organising and encouraging personal service and voluntary work among its members to provide entertainment and hospitality to our guests.
Association members have extended invitations to service men and women disabled physically or mentally in WW1, WW2 and to those deployed in such places as Malaya, Korea, Suez, Kenya, Cyprus, Borneo, Vietnam, Aden, Radfan, Oman, Dhofar, Northern Ireland, the Falklands, Bosnia, Kosovo, Sierra Leone, Iraq and Afghanistan.
However, our remit is not just limited to the war wounded and we include among our guests many ex-servicemen and women disabled through accident and illness, as well as those who are aged and infirm.
